Late Cantopop diva and actress Anita Mui Yim-fong’s memory still burns bright among her loyal fans almost 20 years after she died from cervical cancer, with some banding together to keep her legacy alive through a commemorative exhibition.

Mui Nation, the singer’s fan club, has organised the multimedia event ahead of the 20th anniversary of Mui’s death at age 40 on December 30. The exhibition launched at Mong Kok’s Moko Mall on Monday and runs until October 15.

Club vice-chairwoman Connie Sin Kwai-chi recalled that the diva was passionate about football and her favourite team – Manchester United.
